SEPTEMBER 2026 | METRO VANCOUVER REAL ESTATE UPDATE

Metro Vancouver’s housing market remained subdued in September, with slower sales driven primarily by continued weakness in the apartment market. Detached and townhouse sales showed modest improvement, while overall inventory remained elevated despite fewer new listings.

With buyers continuing to enjoy greater choice and negotiating power, home prices across all property types continued their gradual decline. Market conditions remain favourable for buyers, creating opportunities for those ready to make a move.
