Kitsilano, aka "Kits", is a vibrant and thriving Westside neighbourhood bordered by the ocean to the north, 16th Av on the south, Burrard St on the east, and Alma St on the west. Kits is home to Granville Island Public Market, plus some the city's best shops and dining. Known for its spectacular scenery and endless stretches of beaches, Kits seamlessly blends the urban life, easy access to downtown, clubs, dining, shopping and businesses with the hip suburban, a mix of coffee shops, neighbourhood pubs, eateries, and cool hangouts.

Outdoors and Activities:

Kitsilano is home to 17 parks, six playgrounds, and a local favourite, an off-leash dog park. Kitsilano Beach, one of Vancouver's most popular beaches, offers Kitsilano Pool, The Kitsilano Showboat, an open-air amphitheatre operating since 1935, fine dining, and your traditional seaside concession stand.

Transportation:

Kitsilano is an easy commute to the downtown core, by car, bicycle, bus, and on a good day by walking over the iconic Burrard St Bridge. However, heading downtown is seldomly a must because everything is available in the neighbourhood of Kitsilano!
